Why the house is worth furnishing
The house is the part of Bravenbloom with no goal attached to it, which is exactly why people keep coming back to it. Furnishing a room is the one thing in the game you do purely because you want to look at it, and a visiting friend sees your furniture, not a template - so the room is also the clearest thing you own.
How to unlock or use it
The cottage comes with the plot. Furniture is crafted in the workshop and placed indoors in decorate mode; the hearth, the window seat and the aquarium are already there waiting to be built around.
Key facts
Pieces indoors
Up to 24 placed pieces in the room - enough to furnish it fully without turning it into a warehouse.
Indoor archetypes
37 of the 41 decor archetypes can go indoors, including lantern, topiary, statue, toadstools, crystal cluster, flower pots.
Comfort
Each personal touch adds 2 comfort, up to 8 - a nudge toward cozy, never a replacement for the hearth, the tank or the window seat.
Furnishing gets dearer
The first few pieces stay cheap on purpose; every four after that cost meaningfully more, so a whole house is a project rather than one evening of essence.
The hearth
A log burns for about 15 minutes, up to 4 at once, and you can gather 12 logs a day. The fire is visible from outside the window.
Visitors see your room
A friend standing in your house sees your furniture, arranged where you put it - not a copy of their own.

Player tips
- Place the light first. A paper lamp or fairy lights change the room more than any piece of furniture.
- Keep the hearth burning when you expect company - the fire is what a visitor sees through the window on the way in.
- Buy the first few pieces early while they are cheap, then furnish slowly as essence allows.
- Rugs and framed prints are flat, so other pieces can stand on or beside them - use them to anchor a corner.
- Leave the window seat clear. It is the one spot the room is built around.
