Why the garden is the centre of the game
The garden is the one thing in Bravenbloom that is permanently yours and permanently changing. Plants grow on real time whether you are logged in or not, so a garden is a reason to come back rather than a chore to keep up with - and everything else in the game, from the aquarium to quests to the merchants, is fed by what you grow.
How to unlock or use it
A plot is claimed with a deed near the village and is yours from level 1. After that the garden opens up in stages: Gardener at level 3, Botanist at level 6, Master Gardener at level 10, Horticulturist at level 15, Garden Whisperer at level 20, Bloom Sage at level 30.
Key facts
Garden stages
7 stages, each opening a real feature rather than a number: Sprout, Gardener, Botanist, Master Gardener, Horticulturist, Garden Whisperer, Bloom Sage.
Seeds to grow
26 plantable species, gated by level up to level 10.
Growth is real time
Beds keep growing while the tab is closed. Coming back to a finished bloom is the point, not a punishment for leaving.
The greenhouse
A warmed greenhouse ignores the season entirely, which is what makes winter survivable for an outdoor gardener.
Cross-breeding
From level 6, two blooms grown side by side can produce a living strain nobody else has - its genome is generated, not picked from a list.
Decorating outdoors
10 decor archetypes can be placed around the garden, each one generated from its own genome so two players' lanterns are rarely the same.

Player tips
- Fill every bed before you log off. Growth runs on the clock, so an empty bed is the only thing that truly wastes time.
- Water matters more than variety early on - a watered bed finishes noticeably sooner.
- Save the greenhouse for whatever the season is punishing. In winter that is nearly everything.
- Plant a species you have never grown before now and then; firsts count for far more than repeats toward companions and the codex.
- Leave room for decor. A garden you want to show someone is worth more than one packed edge to edge with beds.
