Who we are
Bravenbloom is a free multiplayer browser game. For privacy questions, data requests, or parent/guardian requests, contact us at support@bravenbloom.io.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to run the game, keep accounts safe, and support players:
- Account data from our authentication provider, such as account ID, email address, and username.
- Game progress, inventory, currency balances, guild membership, friends, leaderboard scores, mail, plots, pets, cosmetics, and similar gameplay data.
- Player-created text such as usernames, guild names, guild descriptions, guild messages, chat messages, and bug reports.
- Public mini-game leaderboard entries and result cards, limited to display name, game, score, rank, period, and share link.
- Security and anti-cheat records, including suspicious activity logs, bans, session state, and technical request information.
- Basic analytics events about game usage and performance. We do not intentionally send email addresses, real names, or chat text in analytics events.
- Local browser storage used to keep the game responsive and remember age-gate and game preferences.
Children and parent consent
Bravenbloom may be played by children, but children need extra protection. Because we plan to make Bravenbloom available internationally, we use a conservative age gate: players 16 or older may continue on their own, players aged 13-15 need parent or guardian approval, and players under 13 cannot play yet. We need a stronger verifiable parental consent flow before allowing under-13 players, especially for the United States under COPPA.
Players should not share real names, addresses, phone numbers, school details, precise location, passwords, payment details, or other private information in usernames, chat, guild text, or bug reports. Parents can contact support@bravenbloom.io to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of a child account.
How we use information
- To create and maintain accounts and saved game progress.
- To provide multiplayer features such as chat, friends, guilds, leaderboards, parties, duels, and auctions.
- To display public mini-game standings and shareable result cards using limited gameplay information.
- To moderate the game, filter abusive content, detect spam, investigate bugs, and protect against cheating or fraud.
- To provide support, respond to requests, and improve game reliability.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines.
Legal bases
Depending on the situation, we process personal data because it is necessary to provide the game service, because we have a legitimate interest in security, moderation, anti-cheat, analytics, and support, because consent has been given where required, or because we must comply with legal obligations.
Sharing and processors
We use service providers to host the game, authenticate accounts, store data, run multiplayer infrastructure, monitor analytics, and operate support workflows. These providers may process data for us only to provide their services. If real-money payments are enabled later, payment information will be handled by a payment provider; Bravenbloom should not receive full card details.
Retention
We keep account and gameplay data while the account is active or as needed to provide the game. Bug reports, moderation records, anti-cheat records, and transaction records may be kept longer when needed for safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, or legal reasons. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact support@bravenbloom.io to make a request.
Security and incidents
We use technical and organizational safeguards such as HTTPS, authentication, access controls, rate limits, server-side validation, anti-cheat checks, backups, and logging. No online service is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that legally requires notice, we will follow applicable notification rules.
